This course meets the mandatory training requirement outlined in Florida State Statute 790.06, qualifying participants to apply for their Florida Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCWP). Upon successful completion, students receive all necessary documentation, including a signed certificate and application guidance.

This is a permit certification course

*** Please note: This is a permit certification course, NOT a beginner shooting class. Students must already be able to safely load, unload, reload, and operate their firearm, as well as accurately fire 25 rounds at a target from 5 yards. If you’re not yet confident in those skills, we highly recommend starting with our “Handgun 101” course to build a strong foundation before pursuing your concealed carry permit.

Course Overview:

• Marksmanship fundamentals
• Live-fire proficiency assessment

The course concludes with a live-fire exercise, where students must safely and competently demonstrate firearm handling and shooting skills.
